I Need A Break

I need a break, maybe a different take, i’m losing my mind, I feel like i’m running out of time, I need a break for gods sake, my bones ache, and I feel like a fake.

Life can be rough, and i’m not tough, enough is enough, enough with the fluff I see everyday, and to all the bills I can never pay, maybe I can wish it all away, maybe I can have my say, what’s this all for anyway.

I’m wide awake, in the city by the lake, this bitter winter I can’t take, for better days I can’t wait, i’m biting my tongue, i’m blowing my lungs, what else can I say, how much can I take.

I need a break for gods sake
